Requirements

Experience with maintenance and custodial work
Must possess a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Ability to bend and lift 25 – 50 pounds.
Working knowledge of cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience/certification a plus.
Working knowledge of power tools and hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical systems and light carpentry a plus.

Responsibilities

Clean building floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming as needed.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Gather and empty trash.
Performing general custodial and cleaning duties to include cleaning of common areas, maintenance of cleaning equipment.
Responsible to maintain appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies.
Procure materials from various suppliers.
Ensures all equipment and supplies are operational and easily accessible.
Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to the Facility Manager.
Report and immediately address all unsafe conditions.
Assist in the triage and temporary repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems.
