About The Position

At Voltify, we are building the next generation of rail - battery locomotives that fast charge autonomously and dynamically through a dedicated self-sustained microgrid network. The Laborer is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment to support roadway equipment machinery used in railroad operations. This role requires proficiency in safely operating heavy equipment and industrial tools, as well as the ability to handle materials and support production activities. The Laborer contributes to the safe, efficient, and orderly operation of the facility and its daily workflows.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age by the anticipated start date.
• Ability to report to the designated work location as required.
• Ability to work safely under the environmental and operational conditions described.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and any shift required by operational needs.
• Ability to meet travel requirements as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to visually distinguish red, blue, green, yellow, and clear (lunar) indicator lights.
• Ability to recognize and differentiate verbal and non-verbal sounds such as alarms and signals.
• Ability to use hands and hand tools for grasping, turning, pulling, and other manual tasks.
• Ability to climb ladders and safely get on and off equipment.
• Ability to bend, walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally work at elevated heights, including on top of locomotives or other equipment.
• Ability to provide documentation of work experience, training, and education for evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Handle, load, unload, and organize materials used throughout the facility in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties, including maintaining workstations, shop areas, and common spaces.
• Operate company equipment as required to support material movement, cleaning, and production activities.
• Clean and wash locomotives and roadway equipment during production processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational and facility needs.
