About The Position

Responsible for general shop labor, maintenance, fabrication, and carpentry work. Assisting with the operations of our Shop Department to ensure all projects are complete in excellent condition and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Possess a high mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools used in carpentry.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to measure and perform mathematical computations.
• Must be able to use, or willing to learn how to use, all tools in the carpentry fields and the fabrication field.
• Various hand and power tools.
• Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, etc.
• Business related software – Concur, TSheets, Fleetio, Geotab, etc.
• Electronic mail software
• Minimum of two year’s working in a maintenance, fabrication, or carpentry environment.
• Must be able to lift objects of at least fifty (50) pounds.
• Ability to travel up to twenty (20%) of time as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc, etc.) for fabrication and repair purposes.
• Using various metal working equipment such as a sheer, break, grinder, etc.
• Interpret prints, drawings, plans, or job write-ups and apply fabrication or welding techniques to complete projects.
• Using various mechanical hand and power tools/equipment.
• All other duties assigned.
