About The Position
This is a full-time, hourly position. Responsibilities include operating/learning to operate tractors and forklifts, climbing ladders to various heights, working overtime, weekends, and holidays during harvest (September – November), loading/unloading peanuts wagons and trucks, general housekeeping duties such as cleaning equipment and buildings, and assisting other personnel and supervisors as needed.
Requirements
- Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
- High school education or equivalent is preferred
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
- Able to meet physical requirements of the position included, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing, working at various heights, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, working in a variety of weather conditions, and/or lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Exhibit professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
- Must have a valid Driver’s license
- Successful completion of a background check
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in maintenance related fields (cutting/welding, electrical) are preferred
- CDL’s are a plus
