Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
0+ years of related experience
Familiarity with various hand and power tools, and a desire to learn fabrication skills.
Ability to obtain a secret clearance is required.
US citizenship required
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and routinely lift up to 50 LBs.

Responsibilities

Support various fabrication shops by providing assistance to skilled tradespeople. Duties will vary day to day and will include but will not be limited to: material handling utilizing forklifts and overhead cranes, cutting raw materials to support machine shop activities, grinding, sandblasting, drilling, and general cleaning and shop maintenance.
Collaborate with shop supervision and tradespeople, production planning and program managers
Drive efficiency by providing support to fabrication shops as needed.
Utilize various hand and power tools such as grinders, band saws, torches, plasma cutters, drills, and milling machines to prepare and stage material.
