About The Position

As a Truck Team Member at 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, you help deliver an exceptional customer experience while performing hands-on junk removal, recycling, donation, and cleanup work. You also engage with customers about their needs, provide estimates, recommend additional services, and support sales and repeat business. The role involves working closely with teammates to complete jobs efficiently and safely.

Requirements

• Comfort lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds safely.
• Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding customer service.
• Confidence discussing pricing and identifying customer needs to promote additional services.
• Strong collaboration skills in a small-team environment.
• At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Three years of clean driving record for insurance purposes.
• Punctuality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, and load items safely and efficiently into the truck.
• Identify items for recycling, donation, or proper disposal.
• Clean up job sites after removals.
• Greet customers, explain services, and answer questions.
• Offer solutions tailored to customers’ junk removal needs.
• Recommend additional services to support customer satisfaction and revenue.
• Provide cost estimates and explain pricing to customers.
• Promote services and applicable add-ons, and work to secure repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with teammates to plan and complete jobs efficiently.
• Communicate with the team and management to support smooth operations.
