About The Position

This position consists of performing tasks involving physical labor and general maintenance on company properties on Saint Paul Island. It also consists of operating tools of all types, cleaning and preparing sites, heavy carpentry focus, site utility installation assistance, masonry work, plumbing, and general maintenance. The statements below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a current valid Driver’s License
• Ability to adjust actions in relation to others and flexibility to perform multiple tasks and to change task as needed to address project needs.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrate excellence in collaboration, innovation, respect and personal accountability.
• Excellent communication (verbal, written) and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of functioning independently and undertake various technical roles when required.
• Able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Clean or prepare work site(s) to eliminate possible hazards.
• Load, unload, or identify materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to appropriate locations, according to manager’s guidance.
• Must be able to work independently or within a small team as necessary.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds frequently in carrying out duties.
• Disposing of construction debris.
• Be responsible for personal and project safety.
• Be responsible for project grounds maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
