About The Position

CMTA, formerly known as AMA Design Build, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to support daily operations on high-end residential and commercial construction projects. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining clean, safe, and organized job sites, as well as protecting newly installed finishes and existing structures. CMTA, formerly known as AMA Design Build (AMADB) is a full-service construction management company established in 2004, emanating from its parent company, AMA Group, an industry leader in the design of MEP/FP building systems for media, broadcast and production facilities, including sound stage campuses, having a portfolio of over 1000 such completed projects, as well as a diverse array of corporate, financial, education and residential clients. Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-player attitude
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various job sites

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience on construction sites preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform daily site maintenance, including sweeping, trash removal, and debris disposal into designated dumpsters
• Install temporary protective coverings on floors, walls, and other finished surfaces to prevent damage during construction
• Assist with general labor tasks needed to support site supervisors and tradespeople
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures
• Travel to job sites throughout NYC, Northern NJ, and Southern CT as required
