About The Position

Archer Western is seeking a Common Laborer for the Microsoft 15/16 Project in Goodyear, Arizona. The role involves physical labor on construction jobsites, including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects. The laborer may operate hand and power tools, prepare sites, and perform other assigned duties. Employees may have opportunities to work across the company’s Building, Transportation, and Water Divisions and access industry-leading training. Requirements

One year of verifiable experience preferred.
Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolding or ladders.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; work may involve adverse weather conditions.
Ability to comply with safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Perform physical labor tasks as instructed by a supervisor.
Work with crew members and operate hand and power tools, including drills and hammers, as directed by management.
Clean and prepare construction sites, including erecting scaffolding, disposing of debris and waste, and digging trenches.
Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite, manually and using equipment.
