About The Position

As the Laborer, you will support construction crews by performing manual labor tasks and assisting with underground utility and telecommunications construction activities. You will help maintain safe and organized job sites, prepare materials, assist equipment operators, and support field activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. Your customers are Congruex field construction teams and clients, and you will contribute to company success through safe operations, teamwork, productivity, and quality project support.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass required pre-employment drug screening and MVR review
Basic knowledge of construction or utility work preferred; training provided
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a crew environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to follow established safety procedures and policies
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Reliable transportation to assigned jobsites

Nice To Haves

Experience in underground utility or telecommunications construction is a plus
CDL license
Experience operating small construction equipment and hand tools

Responsibilities

Attend and participate in daily jobsite safety meetings and crew huddles
Operate tamping machines and assist with equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Load, unload, organize, and prepare jobsite materials, tools, and equipment
Assist with trench excavation, conduit placement, potholing, shoring, backfilling, and other underground construction activities
Assist with structure installation, concrete placement, asphalt preparation, and related restoration activities
Maintain clean and organized job sites and follow customer, company, and safety requirements
