About The Position

The Laborer is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs and grounds work throughout the facility, as well as providing outstanding guest service to internal and external guests. This role involves working in various environments including a casino, food venues, kitchens, and occasionally outdoors, and requires adherence to company policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must possess excellent guest service skills to effectively deal with guests.
  • Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
  • Knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
  • Adherence to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators.

Responsibilities

  • Performing maintenance with guidance from supervisor.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts with instructions provided by a supervisor.
  • Performing routine maintenance on HVAC, alarm systems, and generators with instructions from supervisory personnel.
  • Following the outline of preventative maintenance as scheduled.
  • Handling routine guest complaints and incidents and exhibiting the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel.
  • Seeking to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
  • Performing other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by a member of management.
