About The Position

This position requires a well-organized individual with good communication skills and an exceptional work ethic. The Laborer will develop a rapport with the customer and discuss job requirements. This role involves working alongside all applicable personnel in a professional manner and requires knowledge in all facets of excavation, demolition, and dismantling. Responsibilities include preparation of areas, assembling and transporting items, hauling debris, and cleanup. The Laborer must be able to work unsupervised and perform jobs in a timely fashion. Safely performs tasks as required on walls, ceilings, walkways, roofs, floors, parking areas, and roadways at the University under the jurisdiction of senior management. The role may involve renovation work, new installations, and responding immediately to emergency situations. The Laborer must be able to work in adverse conditions, including confined spaces, damp and humid areas, and hot or cold conditions.
