About The Position
This is a general posting for two Laborer positions, each working 40 hours per week for 12 months of the school year. The application will be considered for all listed positions. Specific shift times and locations vary: North High School operates from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM (Monday - Friday) with a ½ hour unpaid lunch, and Forest Elementary School operates from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Monday - Friday) with a ½ hour unpaid lunch.
Requirements
- Ability to perform Ground Care duties - Mow lawns, weeding, snow shoveling.
- Ability to do manual and unskilled maintenance repair work.
- Ability to perform unskilled work repairing mechanical equipment and heating systems.
- Ability to do minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Ability to move furniture, load and unload trucks.
- Good physical condition, strength & stamina.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to perform routine cleaning.
- Able to run errands to make deliveries and pickups.
Responsibilities
- Performs miscellaneous manual work in an office, on the grounds, or about the building.
- Does related work as required.
