About The Position
SAIC is seeking a Laborer to join our LMADIS team in North Charleston, SC. The Laborer performs tasks that require mainly physical abilities and effort involving little or no specialized skill or prior work experience. The following tasks are typical of this occupation: Loads and unloads trucks, and other conveyances, moves supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrow or hand truck; stacks materials for storage or binning, collects refuse and salvageable materials.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust
- Must be able to safely complete all of the physical demands of the job in a warehouse environment, including but not limited to the following: Lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a regular basis.
- Walking, bending, stooping, sitting, standing, or squatting for extended periods
