About The Position

ACI Building Systems, LLC. is seeking Laborers to support its fabrication and welding operations, machinery use, deliveries, maintenance, and shop chores. The company designs, engineers, manufactures, and delivers pre-engineered steel and building components, and describes its work environment as safe, positive, and engaging.

Laborers perform manual tasks in varying temperatures and must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. The work may involve lifting materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and kneeling. Laborers are expected to follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and safe work environment, meet quality expectations, and learn to use industrial tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Comfort working outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an industrial, construction, or general labor job.
• Additional education or certification in manufacturing.
• Forklift and crane experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members with fabrication and welding.
• Help with operating machinery, deliveries, maintenance, and shop chores.
• Clean and maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow standard work procedures and job safety standards.
• Meet quality expectations for all output produced.
• Perform manual tasks, which may include lifting materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
• Learn to use grinders, cranes, forklifts, plasma cutters, and other tools.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
• Perform additional duties or projects as assigned.
