Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience on a construction job site is a plus.
- A demonstration of ability and willingness to learn new skills on the job.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work productively without constant supervision.
- Possess physical strength and endurance to work well with your hands all day.
- A positive attitude and the ability to strictly follow instructions and safety rules are essential.
- Adherence to all company, client, and project policies, including the safety manual and employee handbook.
- Ability to use email, smartphones, tablets, or computers to manage company information and documents.
Responsibilities
- Perform essential physical labor and critical site tasks to keep projects moving forward.
- Take charge of unloading and transporting materials across the jobsite, ensuring crews have what they need when they need it.
- Maintain a professional and safe workspace by managing clean-up in break areas and restrooms and performing trash removal.
- Assist with finishing touches, including laying sod, planting, trimming, and mowing to ensure the site looks its best.
- Protect your team and the public by flagging traffic and maintaining site security.
- Utilize rakes, shovels, and small power tools to support daily construction operations.
