About The Position

Southwest Mobile Storage, Inc. is seeking a reliable, self-motivated General Laborer to join their hardworking shop team at their Tucson branch. The General Laborer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing portable storage containers to ensure they are in top condition and ready for customer use. This role involves assisting with general labor tasks, loading/unloading, basic repairs, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements

Ability to follow safety procedures and operational instructions required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous labor, construction, warehouse, yard, or operational experience preferred.
Ability to operate basic tools and equipment preferred.
Forklift experience or certification preferred.
Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with general labor tasks throughout yard, shop, and operational areas.
Load, unload, move, organize, and clean materials, equipment, containers, and operational workspaces.
Assist with basic repairs, maintenance, fabrication, and operational support activities as assigned.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment safely and properly.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, yards, shops, and operational spaces.
Support drivers, fabrication personnel, shop staff, and operations personnel as needed.
Follow company safety procedures and operational standards.
Assist with inventory movement, material handling, and equipment staging.
Report operational, maintenance, or safety concerns to management.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Perform additional duties requested by upper management.
