Laborer
About The Position
As a laborer, duties to be performed would be, but not limited to the following: Operate all powered and unpowered worksavers, or pallet jacks, etc. Must load, unload, and transport all warehouse freight. This product may weigh anywhere from fifteen to fifty pounds. Must be able to handle cases to load, or unload. This product may weigh anywhere from fifteen to fifty pounds. Must be able to count, repack, or repalletize all product when necessary. Must be able to spend a long amount of time standing on concrete floors. Also sweep, clean and perform other manual functions necessary to all warehouse operations. Physical demands and abilities Regularly sitting or standing on a powered industrial truck Frequently lifting to 75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time Having a good sense of balance Having good eye-hand-foot coordination Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
