Requirements

  • Prior experience or ability to learn to safely use power tools and pallet jack.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the day in a standing position.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
  • Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic understanding of electronic devices and components.
  • Prior experience in warehouse or electronic equipment dismantling, IT asset disposition, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with IT equipment, data destruction techniques, and recycling protocols is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Safely handle and disassemble a wide range of IT equipment, such as computers, monitors, servers, printers, and networking devices.
  • Sort and categorize components for resale, refurbishment, recycling, or disposal.
  • Remove and properly dispose of hazardous materials, including batteries and CRT monitors, per environmental regulations.
  • Using battery operated power drill, non -battery operated tools, including a heating plate to hand disassemble end of life electronic assets.
  • Unload and transport IT equipment using pallet jack.
  • Find and segregate materials off fast moving conveyor lines.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for everyone in the facility.
  • Daily housekeeping and cleaning of department and workstation.
  • Other duties as assigned by department.
