About The Position

PaulsCorp is seeking a dedicated and reliable Construction Project Laborer to support construction activities and help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the construction site. The role involves assisting skilled tradespersons and supervisors, maintaining a clean and safe worksite, handling materials, following safety procedures, and collaborating with the construction team. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, prioritizes safety, follows instructions, and is willing to learn and adapt to changing project needs. The role requires punctuality, regular attendance, reliable transportation to and from the construction site, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects as needed. Drug testing and background screening are required. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior construction or related-field experience is a plus.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects as needed.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Basic understanding of construction safety practices and protocols.
Reliable transportation to and from the construction site.
Punctuality and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

Assist skilled tradespersons and supervisors with material handling, site cleanup, equipment setup, and other construction tasks.
Follow supervisor instructions and established construction procedures.
Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
Remove debris, garbage, and hazardous materials to maintain a clean, organized construction site.
Keep walkways, work areas, and access points clear and safe.
Perform routine maintenance on tools, equipment, and site facilities.
Load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies.
Distribute materials to designated areas and transport them safely using appropriate handling techniques and equipment.
Follow construction-site safety guidelines, protocols, and regulations; use PPE and safe practices at all times.
Report safety hazards, incidents, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Arrive punctually, adhere to scheduled work hours, maintain regular attendance, and consistently perform assigned duties.
Collaborate with construction team members and follow supervisors’ instructions to achieve project goals.
Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
Take on varied tasks as assigned and adapt to changing work demands and priorities.
