About The Position
The Laborer is responsible for assisting with the quality installation of cabinets, doors, and custom product.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2 years of Installation experience.
- Keen attention to detail
- Blueprint reading skills
- Able to use common hand tools and power tools
- Troubleshooting and communication skills
- Physical stamina for lifting equipment and working at various heights and in tight spaces
Responsibilities
- Unload and carry materials throughout job site.
- Assist Carpenter when necessary.
- Assist with safely operating a variety of machinery and hand tools when installing product as instructed.
- Work independently and collaborate well with team members.
- Physically install casework, millwork, countertops, cabinets, door, and hardware into assigned rooms at construction job sites.
- Apply construction knowledge and techniques, uses tools of the trade safety toward a quality result.
- Prepare construction site for install by clearing obstacles and hazards.
- Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
- General labor duties and assist Foreman/Lead as instructed.
- Sweep and clean job site when needed.
- Spread materials to assist with the installation of cabinets and doors.
