About The Position

As an expanding company, R.R. Cassidy is looking for a Laborer who is experienced, self-motivated, able to work and adapt in fast-paced environments, and willing to embrace the challenges of working with evolving tasks and structures. Candidates must be willing to travel throughout the Southeast United States.

Requirements

Previous experience in construction, civil, or foundation work preferred
Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods
Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform repetitive labor tasks
Clear communication skills and the ability to take directions from supervisors and crew leaders
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help where needed
Familiarity with basic tools and construction equipment
Valid driver’s license required
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test

Responsibilities

Serves as general project laborer
Assists in loading and unloading trucks
Responsible for housekeeping-related tasks for the equipment, facility, tools, and jobsite
Cleans up and assists superintendent with securing jobsite at end of day
Works as spotter for equipment operators to ensure safe operation of machinery
Provides general assistance as requested to operators, foremen, leadmen and Superintendents
Serves as general support to project teams
Actively identifies and proactively addresses safety concerns and communicates to appropriate team members
Comply with all DOT regulations and reporting requirements related to CDL status (if applicable)
