About The Position

Anderson Communities is expanding its Turn Crew and seeking a skilled Handyman. This role is crucial in preparing apartments, townhomes, and homes for new residents, ensuring each unit is clean, functional, and welcoming. The Handyman will be responsible for creating a positive first impression and contributing to the company's mission of building better communities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Must pass a drug screening and background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (job sites may vary across Lexington)

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in carpentry, minor electrical, or plumbing is preferred
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and residential maintenance procedures

Responsibilities

• Follow a standardized checklist to evaluate and prepare homes
• Repair or replace items such as ceiling fans, blinds, faucets, and more
• Assist with minor plumbing, appliance repairs, and general maintenance tasks
• Ensure timely completion of turnovers to meet move-in deadlines
