About The Position
Tarkett Sports is a world leader in sports construction and surfacing, providing architectural design, full-scope construction services, and a comprehensive portfolio of industry-leading sports surfacing solutions. This role involves cleaning and preparation of asphalt/concrete surfaces, using hand tools and power equipment for surface preparation and polyurethane installation, mixing and pouring polyurethane according to safety standards, recovering excess rubber granules, trimming track surfaces, and general site cleanup. The position requires the ability to meet physical demands and involves significant material handling and use of machinery or tools.
Requirements
- Ability to meet physical demands
- Material Handling: 34 – 66% of the time
- Lifting to waist height up 50lbs
- Carrying up to 50lbs
- Hand Function: Simple Grasping, Gross Grasping, Fine Manipulation
- Use of machinery or tools (describe: Forklift, Hand Tools-Drills/Grinders and any other specialized installation equipment
- Working outdoors – 10 hours/day
- Working in heat
- Working on uneven surfaces
Nice To Haves
- 2 -3 years of field experience preferred but not required
- Quick study
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparation of asphalt/concrete surface to secure polyurethane track material
- Use of small hand tools and power equipment in surface preparation and polyurethane installation
- Carrying, mixing and pouring polyurethane to install track surface as required by OSHA safety standards
- Recovery of excess rubber granules and edge detail trimming of track surface
- General site cleanup and demobilization
