This position supports our excavation crews by performing manual labor, assisting equipment operators, preparing job sites, installing materials, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Requirements

Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
Willingness to learn excavation, utility installation, and construction techniques.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays when needed.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to be part of a team.
Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Regular bending, kneeling, digging, lifting, climbing, and walking on uneven terrain.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions year-round.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Assist with excavation, sewer, septic, utility, foundation, and waterproofing projects.
Dig trenches and perform hand excavation when machinery cannot be used.
Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
Install pipe, fittings, and other underground utilities under the direction of the Foreman.
Backfill, compact, grade, and restore work areas.
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Work safely around heavy equipment and follow all company safety procedures.
Protect customers' lawns, driveways, sidewalks, landscaping, and other property throughout each project.
Assist with traffic control, site preparation, and cleanup.
Report safety concerns, damaged equipment, or project issues to the Foreman.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the crew.
