WRS has an immediate opening for a Seasonal Laborer - Refinery. WRS offers a wide range of services in a number of industries. Requirements

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to problem solve in various situations.
Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.

Responsibilities

Install dike fabric, geotextile fabric, erosion control materials, and related containment systems.
Assist with site preparation, excavation support, grading, and backfilling activities.
Load, unload, and stage materials, tools, and equipment.
Perform hand digging, shoveling, raking, and other physical labor tasks.
Assist equipment operators, pipe crews, and other craft professionals as needed.
Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
Inspect materials and installations to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Sprays materials such as water, sand, steam, tar, or paint, through hose to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.
Grinds, sands, or polishes various surfaces.
Follow refinery and facility-specific safety procedures, permits, and work practices.
WRS laborers may be asked to stand a fire watch, hole watch or pump watch. They also may be asked to be a truck spotter or rider.
