About The Position
Laclede Electric Cooperative in Camdenton, Missouri is seeking a Laborer or First Year Apprentice Lineman to join our team! We are seeking someone who is a team player and eager to advance their knowledge and experience in the electrical utility industry.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain Missouri Class A CDL.
- Must reside or be willing to relocate at their own expense to live within 20 minutes of branch office in Waynesville, MO.
- Pass a company required drug screen.
- Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs. (20 lbs. regularly).
- High School Diploma minimum.
Nice To Haves
- Lineman’s school certification or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Learn advanced lineman skills through on-the-job training and demonstrate competencies through the apprenticeship program.
- Follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Respond to and assist in troubleshooting problems with the electrical system during normal working hours, after hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Work in all types of weather conditions.
- Operate truck and other heavy equipment under supervision.
