About The Position

The Laborer (Non-Driver) will support various construction and maintenance tasks at the Desert Pine BESS project site, primarily involving manual labor and material handling. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
• Commitment to safety and a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid identification required (state-issued ID or passport).
• Reliable transportation to and from the Desert Pine BESS project site.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in construction or industrial environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general manual labor duties, including but not limited to, digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., electricians, carpenters, pipefitters) with tasks as directed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper disposal of waste and debris.
• Load and unload materials and supplies from delivery vehicles.
• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
• Spot for heavy equipment operators to ensure safe movement on site.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in pre-task planning and safety meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or foremen.
