About The Position
Charter Manufacturing is a fourth-generation family-owned business where our will to grow drives us to do it better. Join the team and become part of our family! This position is responsible for sorting, separating, and cleaning up scrap metal. The role also involves operating bailing and shearing machines as needed, and weighing small scrap metal orders.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work well with other employees.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Constant standing.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Sort, separate, and clean up scrap metal in the yard.
- Run the bailing and shearing machines using metal and cardboard.
- Weigh small scrap orders for customers.
