About The Position

Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), a division of Pacific Northern Environmental LLC, is seeking an Industrial Cleaning Technician (Laborer) to join their team. CCS specializes in industrial cleaning and spill response for pulp and paper mills, oil companies, and various manufacturing and industrial clients throughout the Pacific Northwest and across the United States. The company is known for its ability to handle large and complex industrial cleaning challenges efficiently and safely. CCS offers call-in pay and premium pay for after-hours work. The role involves various tasks such as operating vacuum trucks, hydroblasting, hydro excavation, and tank cleaning, often in challenging environments. A strong teamwork mentality and adherence to safety protocols are essential. The company provides and pays for all necessary safety training and certifications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Valid Driver’s License Required
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Experience working in a safety sensitive field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience utilizing industrial cleaning equipment (vacuum truck, hydroblasting machinery, etc.) highly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operation of different work-related equipment, including but not limited to high pressure pumps, vacuum trucks, different industrial cleaning agents, etc.
  • Responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response.
  • Inspect surface cleaned to ensure compliance to company and customer expectations.
  • Remain professional and represent the company well, great customer service required.
  • Works as a team participant along with maintenance staff to ensure the team meets quality standards set by company.
  • Test machinery and equipment as needed.
  • Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Remain up to date on all safety training and mill trainings, mostly completed on an annual basis.
  • Safely operates and maintains company vehicles as required for job duties, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
