The Department of Conservation and Recreation is seeking seasonal laborers to support high-profile events scheduled at their parks during the summer. This position is crucial for delivering exceptional visitor experiences during major statewide and international events, including Tall Ships 2026, Massachusetts 250 (MA250) commemorations, FIFA World Cup Watch Parties, and other large-scale public gatherings. The Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA), which oversees DCR, aims to protect, preserve, and enhance Massachusetts’ environmental resources and foster a clean energy future for all residents. This involves stewardship of open spaces, protection of environmental resources, and advancement of clean energy, with a commitment to environmental justice. The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) manages nearly half a million acres of land, forming one of the largest and most diverse state park systems.
