About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves providing general plant clean-up, light to heavy mechanical maintenance to ensure constant production, and assisting in plant maintenance when needed. The position requires upkeep of plant and heavy equipment, maintaining daily plant/heavy equipment operations, operating plant equipment, and being cross-trained in other jobs.

Requirements

• Ability to work both 8 and 12 hour work shifts as well as weekend work when required
• High School Diploma is required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Capability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
• Competency in performing physical tasks and working outdoors.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
