Highway Department Laborer/Driver/Equipment Operator
About The Position
The Town of Douglas Highway Department is hiring a full-time, 40-hour-per-week Laborer/Driver/Equipment Operator. The position involves labor, driving, and equipment operation in support of highway construction and maintenance operations. Applicants must be willing to be on call and work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting pay is $21.55 to $23.95 per hour, with full benefits. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Have or be willing to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
- Have or be willing to obtain 2B, 4E, and 4G hoisting licenses.
- Knowledge of construction and maintenance operations.
- Willingness to be on call and work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
