About The Position

The Tooele City Parks Division is seeking a responsible, self-starter for a seasonal bathroom facilities maintenance position. This role involves cleaning and maintaining public restrooms in city parks, working a weekend split shift schedule. The position requires working outdoors and handling various cleaning tasks, including those involving potentially unpleasant materials. A valid Utah Driver's License and a clean driving record are necessary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid Utah Driver's License for at least 12 months (not including time with a learner's permit).
• Must have a driver record acceptable to Tooele City's risk management and insurance standards.
• Ability to communicate with the public in a positive way.
• Reliable and predictable attendance.
• Comfortable with cleaning restrooms.

Nice To Haves

• Prior custodial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lock and unlock public restrooms in parks in the morning and evenings.
• Clean toilets and urinals in restrooms.
• Refill soap, paper towels, and toilet paper dispensers.
• Sweep, mop, and hose down restroom floors as needed.
• Empty trash cans and replace trash bags.
• Clean walls, door handles, mirrors, and other structural elements.
• Handle needles and other infected materials with caution and appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Conduct deep cleaning as needed.
