Requirements

  • Bachelors in cell biology or biochemistry plus 0 - 2 years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience preferred with cell-based assays required.
  • Expertise in multichannel pipetting
  • Ability to calculate molarity and generate dose response curves required.
  • Must be detailed orientated and consistent in experimental approach.
  • Must deliver data in a timely manner.
  • Must be team-oriented and accustomed to working with other scientists.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable and experienced working in a commercially focused lab environment.
  • Must be a good at multi-tasking.
  • Must have very keen attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with lab automation desired (liquid handlers / plate readers, robotics).
  • Must be willing to help co-workers at all times

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory tests and analyses following established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Analyze and review laboratory findings to ensure accuracy, reliability, and completeness of results.
  • Calculate, verify, and document test results as required.
  • Recognize and troubleshoot routine instrument or analyzer malfunctions and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Prepare reagents, media, buffers, and other laboratory materials according to prescribed procedures.
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities on equipment, reagents, media, and analytical methods.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Enter, manage, and verify test data within laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or other computerized databases.
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulations.
  • Support laboratory maintenance activities, including equipment calibration, monitoring, and routine upkeep.
  • Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff and cross-functional teams to support project and operational objectives.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned.
