Laboratory Technician
About The Position
This role requires a basic knowledge of coatings, laboratory equipment, and computing tools to capture and record data. The technician will perform all testing utilizing prescribed test methods, accurately document lab results and technical information, and maintain an up-to-date electronic lab notebook and/or project folder per ISO standards. Collaboration with team members is essential to ensure test schedules are maintained. The technician will also be responsible for setting up, readjusting, and operating laboratory equipment and instruments, complying with all security regulations and safety guidelines, and maintaining a clean work area. This position functions under moderate supervision, requiring the management of timelines and prioritization of assigned duties to meet project goals. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities

- Perform all testing utilizing the prescribed test methods

- Collaborate with team members to ensure test schedules are maintained
- Sets up, readjusts, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Comply with all security regulations, safety guidelines, and maintain a clean work area
- Function under moderate supervision, managing timelines and prioritizing assigned duties to meet project goals
- Performs other duties as assigned
