About The Position

Celerion is seeking a part-time Lab Technician / Associate Analyst to join our Molecular and Cellular Biology team at our Lincoln, NE location. This role is ideal for someone with experience with sterile technique, strong pipetting skills, and a flexible schedule that can adapt as business needs change. In this role, you will support biological sample processing, reagent preparation, analytical testing, and data documentation in a fast-paced lab setting. As you gain independence over your first 3–6 months, your schedule will become more variable to support evening and weekend shifts. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to build deeper hands-on experience in a clinical research laboratory, work with biological samples including blood, urine, plasma, and feces, use molecular and cellular biology techniques in a regulated environment, grow their independence over time while supporting meaningful research, and work part-time hours with the understanding that schedule flexibility is essential.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree — or 2+ years of coursework — in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field
  • Experience with sterile technique working in a biosafety cabinet
  • Strong pipetting experience; expect 2–3 hours of pipetting daily, occasionally up to 8 hours
  • Basic computer skills; data entry comprises ~50% of each shift
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Candidates with limited or fixed availability may not be the right fit at this time. This position is best suited for someone who can say “yes” when the schedule shifts and who is comfortable with variability as part of the role.
