About The Position

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine analytical testing, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of results, and maintaining laboratory best practices. This role involves working with advanced instrumentation, interpreting analytical data, and contributing to the overall success of the company’s scientific endeavors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and/or Science related field
  • 1-year analytical laboratory experience
  • Compliant with all safety guidelines.
  • Excellent people and team building skills, interacting with a wide range of individuals and grade

Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing (e.g. Waters, Amines, Corrosion/Scale Coupons, Millipore, Oil Carryover and Oil samples) in a laboratory environment following the company's SOP.
  • Review and interpretation data to verify that is accurate and reasonable.
  • Perform analytical calculations for reporting data into LIMS
  • Inspect and test raw / finished product and maintain records of inspections & tests for compliance with quality standards.
  • Work with the production or operations team to correct and improve processes that lead to defects.
  • Perform instrumentation calibrations and/or basic troubleshooting as needed.
  • Demonstrate and facilitate open and honest communication with the department and with employees at all levels of the company.
  • Communicate regularly within the department on appropriate matters.
  • Communicate with peer managers across the company.
  • Maintain clean and orderly working environment.
