About The Position

Responsible for assisting and performing a wide range of chemical and physical
analyses on petrol-fuels and chemicals. Operate equipment to control chemical
changes or reactions in the processing of industrial or consumer products.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree from a two-year college or technical school
• Minimum two years related experience
• Be highly organized and able to follow a systematic method of performing a task.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Computer Skills: Strong background in MS Office applications required.
• Customer Service Skills: Meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Work Ethic: Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for own actions. Show a commitment to doing the best job possible.
• Physical Abilities: Lift and carry 50 pounds in various packaging. Tip and move 55 gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds, with the use of a drum dolly.

Responsibilities

• Work in laboratory environment wherein chemical odors may be encountered
• Performs assigned duties according to the current HSE laboratory safety standards
• Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations in performing assigned duties
• Collects data, documents test results, and assists in preparing reports
• Complete and analyze all samples accurately (water, solid, etc.)
• Perform and complete various technical projects in laboratory
• Inventory and order lab supplies as needed
• Follow written lab procedures manual and update manual if changes in procedures are made
