This role involves animal studies, including administering pharmacological agents and immunotherapy, assisting with imaging techniques (MRI, CT, MPI), and working with magnetic nanoparticles. The position also requires performing histological work such as tissue collection, slide preparation, staining (H&E, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence), and image analysis. Molecular techniques include molecular cloning, plasmid purification, RNA/DNA isolation, real-time PCR, PCR genotyping, immunoassays, protein analysis (western blots), and multiparameter flow cytometry. The role also entails ensuring regulatory compliance with IACUC and IRB submissions, adhering to EH&S standards, and training new laboratory members and students. The technician will also train and supervise graduate and undergraduate students in diagnostic procedures related to immunotherapy experiments and perform other duties as needed to support the Principal Investigator's research.
