Visit the Bagdad town website to learn more. Description Under supervision, performs routine analytical tasks in an oil analysis lab. Performs routine oil analysis testing, including operation of lab equipment and utilization of current LIMS. Prepares samples for analysis using appropriate techniques and performs sample preparation for quality control program. Maintains laboratory instrumentation and equipment. Perform various administrative duties, including but not limited to, ordering supplies (stock issues, direct charge, etc.), departmental communications, site interactions (verbal and written), etc. Assists in laboratory personnel training. Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

One year of direct lab experience or Associates related degree which includes six months related lab experience.
Demonstrated experience in MS Office or similar software.
Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.
Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
1 year of mechanical/maintenance experience.
Previous experience working with chemicals.
Previous experience working with oil analysis.
Previous experience working with lab equipment (ICP, viscometers, particle analysis, etc.).
