About The Position

This position will work in the Microbiology Research laboratory to support CDC and industry-funded grants related to acute respiratory and acute gastrointestinal infections. Requirements

• HS diploma or equivalent
• No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training
• 1-2 years of related phlebotomy or lab experience or education training in phlebotomy preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Specimen management including deidentification, freezer storage and retrieval, aliquoting, labelling and shipping
• Inventory maintenance including shipment receipt (Receiving deliveries, maintaining inventory for shipments received and supplies in hand)
• Maintains general operations of the Laboratory and performs quality assurance activities as assigned
• Attend weekly lab and team meetings.
