Laboratory Technician I
About The Position
As a Full-Time Laboratory Technician based in our Denver, CO Laboratory, you’ll step into the lab where every detail matters. You'll play a key role in prepping and handling samples, keeping records accurate, and maintaining a clean laboratory to support on-time results everyday. You’ll collaborate with a strong team of committed professionals, contribute to meaningful scientific work, and grow your expertise in a dynamic, quality-driven environment. The compensation range for this role is $20.00 to $25.00, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. Schedule: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of analytical method, analytical instruments, general lab practices and lab safety
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good organizational skills and strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare water and soil samples
- Assist in sample receiving
- Cleaning of laboratory glassware
- Maintaining clean laboratory areas
- Maintaining organized records of sample preparation and analysis
- Overhead projects designed to improve efficiency of, or accuracy of analyses
- Assisting the Group Leaders and analysts in acquiring and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation
- Comply with our Quality Assurance Program and other policies
- Comply with our Health and Safety Plan
- Other duties as assigned by the Group Leader or Lab Director
