About The Position
The Laboratory Technician handles samples, performs chemical analyses and reports accurate and timely data according to Laboratory Operating Procedures and test methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemistry or related field required
- Commercial laboratories experience an asset
Responsibilities
- Performs applicable testing with proper proficiency training with Supervision
- Assists with cleaning laboratory carts, glassware, racks
- Maintains cleanliness of laboratory work surfaces
- Maintains records of all quality activities as required in Operating Procedures and Test Methods
- Homogenizes samples following standard protocols
- Maintains and verifies equipment.
