About The Position

The Lab Technician is responsible for applying GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate. This role involves demonstrating and promoting the company vision, regular attendance and punctuality, and demonstrating proficiency in chain-of-custody documentation. The technician will follow written SOPS, communicate with technical departments on sample status, and manage the storing and discarding of vials in the storage area. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is essential. Responsibilities include preparing samples and reagents using various prep procedures, ensuring samples are prepped within required hold times, and restocking supplies as needed. The role may also involve assisting with special projects and conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner. Other duties as assigned. The position is 3rd shift, Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Training will be conducted Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Computer skills
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • A good working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office
  • Previous lab experience
  • Ability to work well with a team, communicate effectively, follow safety protocols, deal with peers and supervisors in a professional manner, retain large volumes of information and follow written and verbal instructions.
