About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries. The Laboratory Support role involves completing routine laboratory procedures, reporting test results, maintaining instruments, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean and safe laboratory environment. This position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm, located in Malvern, PA.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in a scientific concentration
Requires knowledge in using various instruments to prepare for and perform tests
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship
Conform to all customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, security clearances and medical checkups

Nice To Haves

1-2 years’ experience in a laboratory setting
Understanding of laboratory equipment
GxP training a plus
Valid Driver’s License and transportation

Responsibilities

Completes routine laboratory procedures such as preparation of solvents, buffers, media, and mixing of chemicals.
Reports timely and accurate test results according to laboratory policies and procedures.
Follows Good Documentation Practices (GDP) standards for all documentation.
Performs routine maintenance of lab instruments and troubleshooting.
Stores chemicals properly, disposes of chemical waste, and adheres to safety procedures.
Participates in safety programs.
Manages inventory and maintains laboratory supplies including glassware and chemicals for biotech/pharmaceutical processes.
Tracks and documents chemical usage and inventory.
Maintains clean room to prevent contamination and ensure integrity of production.
Operates laboratory equipment and instruments.
Calibrates balances and pH meters.
Inspects laboratory safety stations.
