The Laboratory Support Technician is responsible for preparing and assembling components used in ELISA kits while supporting daily batch production activities. This role follows established procedures to prepare reagents, buffers, and kit materials, maintains accurate production records, performs basic quality checks, and ensures all work is completed in accordance with quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. The technician works closely with Production and Quality teams to ensure products are manufactured accurately and on schedule. This position reports to the Batch Production Manager and is part of the In-House Manufacturing Team, Batch Production located in Eugene, OR and will be an on-site role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrate ability to follow standardized procedures and protocols with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lb.

Nice To Haves

  • college degree a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, laboratory, or related environment preferred.
  • 1 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, laboratory, or related environment.
  • Experience in Oracle, Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc)
  • Experience maintaining documentation, performing quality checks, and working in a quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials and components used in ELISA kits.
  • Mix and prepare reagents, buffers, and solutions according to procedures.
  • Label, package, and organize kit components.
  • Follow batch records, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
