About The Position
Sentara Health is hiring a laboratory support technician to work part time in the Microbiology Lab at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. The duties of a laboratory support technician (LST) include preparing specimens per discipline operating procedure for result/interpretation by technical staff, and performing instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures. The work shift is the Second (Evenings), with hours from 1300-0000 weekdays and 1200-2230 every other weekend.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology
