About The Position
Monitor accurate, timely and cost-effective laboratory testing of patient samples to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease by performing complex chemical, biological, hematological , immunological and microscopic tests.
Requirements
- NYSED license required/Laboratory Technologist Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, Biology or Chemistry required
- Minimum of six years’ recent experience as a Medical Technologist
- Prior experience in a leadership role
- Lab Science understanding of Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Banking and Microbiology.

- Document fair and objective performance evaluation
- Participating in Quality Improvement activities
- Review of all critical values
