About The Position

Stewart Memorial Community Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Laboratory Supervisor for their Laboratory Department. This role involves planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing department functions to achieve organizational goals. A strong understanding of regulatory requirements is essential to ensure laboratory compliance for quality patient care. The supervisor will manage a team of professional MLTs and Phlebotomists, providing coaching, training, encouragement, and accountability to the Standards of Behavior. Responsibilities also include writing, reviewing, revising, and implementing all policies and procedures, establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with directors and physicians, and promoting participation in hospital projects, public relations programs, patient surveys, and community education programs.

Requirements

Fulltime position
MLT/MT
Associates degree accepted with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the Laboratory profession based on CLIA 1988 guidelines for technical supervisor
ASCP or equivalent license required.
Computer knowledge with Word, Excel required.
Ability to organize and prioritize work with exceptional communication skills
